(2) Any nonresident individual shall be deemed to have satisfied this division if the individual's taxable income from all sources for the tax period in which the individual's tax return is due and such date of filing that is included in the specified period of time is at least twenty per cent of the individual's taxable income or the total of the individual's income, including self-employment income, earned by all sources for such period.
